Little Bear Custom Holsters

Greetings all. My name is Dave Galloway; creator an owner of Little Bear Custom Holsters. Some of you may already know me or my work. I would like to shed some new info before going further.

Starting July 5, 2010, I am adding a full time partner: Jim. Jim has been my apprentice for over a year and has made leaps and bounds in the industry. He brings some fresh ideas to the table, a passion for perfection and an eye for the craft.

I will still be building but we will have certain focus'. Having Jim will allow me to improve my "custom" work and spend more time on the phone taking orders and helping customers.

It also comes at a perfect time since I just had my spinal stimulator test system, installed, today, 22 July, 2010. I am still able to do alot of work but somethings Jim will have to do. I still have another surgery to undergo, IF the test goes well. It is an interesting system, hands down. It is taking the pain level down, already; though it feels like when you put your tongue on a 9 volt battery. 

I am sure there are some out there who are hesitant buying from me due to my past and may have seen my temper on a forum or two. I am not going to pretend to be something I am not. I say what I think and do my best every day. I may not be perfect and I still struggle with my physical issues, but I am not a liar, a brownie hound and I am not in this business to get rich. If I wanted money, I would find something else to do.

So, now for a brief on my history:

Training: Advanced shooting instruction- former Delta Operator

CQB with 1st BN 75th Ranger Regiment

Private Shooting instruction from former: TPD SWAT, PC Sheriff's, Master Instructors (WA LE)

Advanced Collision Investigations

I started building knife sheaths for my brother's custom knives. I saw his work with leather and gave it a go. In 2006, I ran out of money and made myself a belt slide. Once it was seen by others, it was a whirlwind of orders, it seemed.

Currently, LBCH work is being worn by: FBI, US Marshal's, State and Local LE, US Army Rangers, Special Forces, OGA, USMC, various shooting instructors and "Joe and Jane" civilian.

I know I am not the greatest maker but I do my best to ensure the customer gets the best holster I can make at a price that is affordable. I may not make the prettiest holster, with perfect stitching; but I make a fully functional, durable, safe holster that can be used daily with confidence. If I cannot help, I will be glad to help find one who will. There are plenty of makers who have years more experiance than I do: Matt Del Fatti, Garrity Gunleather, K Null, TT Gunleather, HBE Leather works,  and many, many more.
